Seattle —-> San Francisco

Earlier this year, I made a big move to San Francisco. I’m from Seattle, so I chose a local mover Local Seattle Movers WA to help me make my journey all the way down to Northern California. I was told San Francisco wouldn’t be all that much different from Seattle, but I think it absolutely is. And I love it completely.

Although I love how casual and friendly the Northwest is, I think I’ve always belonged in San Francisco. I just love how everyone dresses, and I love the culture! The food, especially, is my favorite part. The Mexican food in San Francisco is absolutely to DIE for. I was so excited that I was moving and that I wouldn’t have to do the hard part at all!

Puget Sound Movers, as a mover Seattle, were really great and I was pretty excited that I was getting help the entire way. I really couldn’t imagine making the journey from Seattle to San Francisco multiple times. Especially because I was going to be making the journey on my own. It was a little more expensive to do it this way, but I was glad that it meant everything would be taken care of.

Money out the window– Literally!

No matter what I tried, there was no way we could properly seal off the front windows to our house. It’s possible that when the last earthquake rocked our house, the house has never been the same. Even when we have the windows closed, we were still feeling the draft from the outside– that’s when we decided it was time to give California Window Masters a call and get our windows replaced.

We didn’t want to spend the money on new windows, but we also recognized that we were losing money by not making sure that air couldn’t get into our home. In effect, we were wasting so much energy (and therefore, money) on heating and/or cooling our house because money was just going straight out the window– quite literally!

So it was time for us to bite the bullet and finally commit to buying replacement windows in San Jose. And as it turned out– they weren’t even that expensive anyway! And they looked 100 times better than the old windows we had before. We certainly learned our lesson!

Gold Selling for Dummies

Not long ago it was my first time selling gold. I was low on cash, but had a large supply of gold chains and necklaces that I had been given by various family members. I was never going to wear them, so I took them to Gold Coins San Francisco in San Francisco. There, I learned just how valuable gold actually is.

Oxbridge House has been around for years and they have a lot of experience, so I chose them when I needed someone to buy my gold in San Francisco. They have built a trusted reputation because they work hard to make sure you are treated honestly and with respect. It’s not easy to find someone you trust in the gold-buying business, but Oxbridge House is certainly one of them.

I am so glad that I found Oxbridge House because I was really excited about the fact that I would be able to get exactly what I deserved. I even took my gold necklaces to another shop and they were going to give me so much less than Oxbridge House was. Surely, they didn’t think I was a dummy!
